The Vivo X80 Pro+ flagship is said to launch next month

This information comes from GSM Arena, as a “trustworthy industry source” is mentioned as the source. Just to be clear, the source itself did not mention the Vivo X80 Pro+ by name, but it’s said it “won’t be an iterative upgrade”, which points towards the ‘Plus’ model. So, what can you expect from the Vivo X80 Pro+? Well, the Vivo X80 Pro is packed with pretty much every spec and feature you can imagine, aside from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. So, we believe that will be one of the main additions.

Upgraded camera and SoC are tipped

Rumors are also mentioning an even better camera setup on the device, with ZEISS’ optics, of course. A 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 (1/2.76-inch sensor, 0.64um pixel size) camera is mentioned.. The same goes for a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN2 (1/1.12-inch sensor, 1.4um pixel size) camera. Those two are tipped to be included in addition to the existing 50-megapixel main and 48-megapixel ultrawide units that sit on the back of the Vivo X80 Pro.

It will have many spec similarities to its sibling, the X80 Pro

We believe that most other specs will be very similar to the Vivo X80 Pro. The device already supports 80W charging, and 50W wireless charging. A large ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is included, which works great. It also has a pair of truly great stereo speakers, plenty of RAM, and a gorgeous 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO3 AMOLED display. In all honesty, there’s not much VIvo can actually improve upon spec-wise. The company may yet surprise us, though. We may start getting some teasers from Vivo in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.
