ORIGINAL ARTICLE: It seems like a Googler shared the very first Google Pixel 6 (Pro) camera sample. This image was shared on Facebook by a Google employee called Zaheed Sabur. He said that the image was taken using “the latest Google Pixel phone”. Now, that means that it was taken either by the Pixel 5a 5G or the Pixel 6. You may wonder why we think it was the Pixel 6. Well, the image got removed.

The very first Google Pixel 6 (Pro) camera sample seemingly shared by a Googler

You can check out that image below this paragraph, though do note it has been compressed. One thing is for sure, this photo doesn’t really scream ‘Pixel’ to us, not at all, in fact.

The image itself is extremely saturated, to the point of exaggeration. The thing is, someone obviously edited this photo before publishing, so it doesn’t help us come to any type of conclusion. This could be a planned teaser for the Pixel 6 camera or something of the sort. There’s always a chance of that with such posts. Google may have done this on purpose through its employee, we’ll never know. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are expected to arrive in the fall, with a brand new camera setup. Google has been using the same 12.2-megapixel main camera since the Pixel 2, and it’s getting ready to change things up.

The Pixel 6 series is expected to utilize one of Samsung’s camera sensors

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are rumored to use Samsung’s 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 camera sensor for their main camera. We’re still not 100-percent sure that will happen, but it sure looks possible. Google is also changing up its smartphone design game. From understated design, the company will move to a really flashy design. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are supposed to return the Pixel line to the premium category. Both phones will be quite pricey, and will come with Google’s first-ever processor, the Google Tensor. That also gives us hope the cameras will be top notch, as Google has complete control.
