When you’re searching for items online, Google search can show you a feed of items from top sellers. All you have to do is click on the shopping tab in the Google search. You will see the items, the prices, and where you can buy them.

It’s easy using Google Shopping, now it’s easier to find promo codes

Most people shopping around for items are looking to save money. This is where coupons and promo codes come in handy. There are all types of sales and discounts going on at any given moment, so being able to find the best discounts and sales is a useful skill. This is where this new Google Shopping feature comes in. When you use Google Shopping, and an item has a coupon code, you will see the text “Special Offer” in the top left corner of the entry. When you tap or click on it, the resulting page will have the coupon code at the bottom with a scissors icon right next to it. Tapping or clicking on that will automatically copy the promo code into your clipboard. From that point, you can go ahead and go through with the transaction as usual. This is great because it’s not always clear when there is a promotion going on for an item. You can see when there’s a sale, but a promotion is harder to spot. This should definitely help people save a lot of money

There are more features coming as well

Google is also rolling out a deals section. This means that, when you’re searching for an item, all items on sale will be under a dedicated deals tab. This will make it easier to find items that are on sale. Last but not least, the price insights feature is coming to the mobile version of Google Shopping. This will show you information on a product’s price history. You’ll be able to see how the product’s price rose and fell over time. These new features are currently rolling out, so you should expect them within the coming weeks.
