Officially the game arrives for Android and iOS devices on September 22. But if you’re too excited to wait you can at least pre-register for the game starting today. And in doing so, you can score some in-game rewards to use at your discretion later on. Now technically, you don’t have to pre-register to receive the rewards. According to the Pokémon Unite Play Store page, the pre-register campaign will be available to anyone who logs into the game by October 31 of this year. However, the rewards that players receive are dependent on how many people pre-register for the game. You probably see where this is going – the more people that pre-register, the better the rewards will be. So you might want to pre-register if you want the best loot.

The Pokémon Unite launch on mobile follows the Nintendo Switch release

While Pokémon Unite may just now be coming up on its mobile release, it’s been out for the Nintendo Switch since late July. Giving a whole lot of people the chance to test the game out well ahead of players on mobile. Having said that, if you have a Switch and want to play immediately, you can do so on that platform. When Pokémon Unite releases for Android and iOS next month, they’ll also be able to play with Nintendo Switch players. As the game features cross-platform play for all three platforms.

Pre-registration campaign rewards will be available on all platforms

If you want the mobile pre-registration rewards, you’ll need to log into the game on mobile by the date specified above. You don’t necessarily have to use them on mobile though. Logging into the game on mobile to receive them will link them to your account. After which you can use them on whatever platform you choose. So if you have the game on multiple platforms, the world is your oyster so to speak.
