Samsung’s FE editions of its devices have become pretty popular. It stands for “Fan Edition” and has become a mid-cycle release for Samsung devices. If you don’t have enough money to afford the best version of the device, then the FE version might be perfect for you.

We have information on the Galaxy Tab S8 FE

This news comes to us from several sources including Phone Arena. The rumor is Samsung will announce this tablet early next year. The announcement should be around the time that Samsung announces its Galaxy Tab S9 tablets. This should come as no surprise, as the FE Editions of Samsung devices are usually announced around the next generation of devices. What we know about the Galaxy S8 FE is mostly rumor right now, so you’ll want to take this information with a grain of salt. It will almost certainly have the name Galaxy Tab 8 FE. We know that the model number will be SM-X506B. The tablet has the code name “Birdie.” This is expected to be a mid-range version of the Galaxy Tab S8 tablet, so it will not be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or 8 Gen 2. Instead, this tablet is expected to use the mid-range MediaTek Kompanio 900T. At the moment, we don’t have any information on the potential Ram or storage options for this tablet. Being a mid-range tablet, we can expect it to have between 6GB and 8GB of RAM and possibly between 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage. As for the display, we’re looking at an LCD panel. We’re not quite sure how the LCD panel will look. Samsung has stopped manufacturing its own on LCD panels The company sources the production to another company.

There might be S Pen support

One of the headlining features of this tablet will be the inclusion of S Pen support. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE came with the S Pen included, so, we can expect it to come with the next iteration. However, we can’t say that for sure just yet. The S Pem will make this tablet perfect for artists who want a drawing tablet without paying too much money. It will most likely come with a WACOM digitizer for high-quality input. At this point, we don’t really know more about this tablet, but more information will come out as the year draws to a close.
