You’ll solve puzzles by shifting your visual perspective

The core gameplay will have you rotating this multi-dimensional cube. Each side of the cube will have a dynamic 3D scene. One side might be an abandoned island, and another one might be a construction site. As you rotate the cube, you’ll notice that there are items from two of the scenes that will actually line up. When that happens, they combine to form a working item that pushes forth your progress. Maybe one side of the cube has a robotic arm that needs a joint, and another side has a crane arm that happens to have a joint. Or, one side has the front of a truck, and another side has the back of a toy truck. Throughout the game, you’ll be lining up multiple objects to solve the puzzles.

Optillusion’s story adds depth to Moncage

This isn’t a game where you just solve random puzzles; there’s actually a story. Moncage has you following Optillusion’s award-winning story, and it’s all about a young boy, his father, and a lighthouse. As you solve puzzles, you’ll uncover more and more of the story; and it looks like it will be a deep one. As you complete puzzles, you’ll recover photos. Each photo will tell you more information about the boy and his father.

There’s a helpful guidance system

You run the risk of getting  stuck while playing Moncage, but don’t worry, Optillusion’s got you covered. There’s a helpful guidance system to help you if you get lost. The focus feature highlights the specific items that you need to interact with. There are hint texts that will give you additional information about items. These should give you just a bit more information and context than the focus feature. If you’re really in a pickle, and you don’t know what to do, then there will be video walkthroughs. These will be unlocked as you progress. These helpful items just might come in handy a few times.

Optillusion’s Moncage is available on both mobile and PC platforms
