The Galaxy S21 FE may not launch in the US after all

The Galaxy S21 FE was expected to arrive in both the US and Europe, but if this report is to be believed, that won’t happen. Needless to say, the Galaxy S21 FE is quite late to the party. The phone was expected to launch back in August. That did not happen due to the global chip shortage. Samsung then planned to get it out the door in October, but that didn’t happen either. The latest report, and probably an accurate one, claims that the phone will launch in January. Well, if this new report is to be believed, Samsung dropped plans to make the phone available in the US. Why? Well, there are a couple of factors to this. First and foremost, the chip shortage. Still, even with that in mind, Samsung planned to release it in both Europe and the US. According to the report, the chip shortage is not the only reason it’s not coming to the US. Carriers, apparently, don’t seem to be interested in carrying this phone, mainly because it’s arriving so late. Well, some carriers.

Carriers are afraid the Galaxy S21 FE will mess up Galaxy S22 series sales

They seem to be concerned that the Galaxy S21 FE will undermine the Galaxy S22 series sales. That is a justified reason as the Galaxy S22 series is expected to launch less than a month after the Galaxy S21 FE. Due to that reason, Samsung allegedly decided to sell the phone in Europe only, through a few carriers. A tipster, recently, suggested that the phone will launch on January 4, but Ddaily claims it may arrive during CES 2022. Now, what logic is there to launch this phone during CES, which is being held in Las Vegas, if the phone won’t be sold in the US? That’s what we’re wondering. In either case, take this report with a grain of salt.
