Galaxy S21 FE teardown Like any other teardown video, this video also begins by removing the SIM tray and peeling off the back panel. Samsung has fitted a plastic back on the Galaxy S21 FE, so a little heat and gentle prying with a pry tool will be enough to remove it without any damages. There aren’t any cables attached to the back panel. On the other side, we have 17 Philips screws holding together all the components of the phone....

This announcement doesn’t come as a surprise to us though. We were already expecting this. Samsung implemented the final Android 12 AOSP (Android Open Source Project) in the third One UI 4.0 beta build for the Galaxy S21 series. The fourth beta release was all about bug fixes. So quite clearly, the company is done adding new features or making changes and improvements. All that remains now is some bug fixing and optimizations....

According to SamMobile, who first reported this rollout, the latest update for the Galaxy S21 series comes with the firmware version G99xBXXS3AUJ7. We don’t have a changelog handy to confirm this, but the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra are unlikely to be getting any new features with this update. Samsung would now be keeping everything for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0, which should arrive soon....
